La Torre del Oro

Golden Tower was bult  by the Moors as protective and lookout of the city in the thirteenth century. it was located at the end of what was the walls along the river. lookout tower went on to store gold ( calle gold tower  because its facade had golden reflections. 

Later it was a Christian church, then going to host the admiralty, and ending with what it is today, Maritime Museum.

El palacio de san Telmo ( san telmo palace )

Plaza de España

Plaza de españa   is an architectural complex located in the Maria luisa park . Its construction was due to be the main building of the Latin American Exhibition of 1929. Provincial Museum of Fine Arts

it's located in the former convent of La Merced, is one the main museums in Spain, both for its size and the number of works it houses, among which are artists like Zurbarán, El Greco Pacheco, Martinez Montanes or Murillo. The museum also shows the Sevillian sculptural trajectory.

Archeological Museum

it's located in the Plaza de America, open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 9.00 to 20.30, and on Sundays and some holidays, from 9.00 to 14.30 hours. The museum houses more than 60,000 pieces, including objects in property and deposit. The initial collection was made up of funds from the confiscation of the nineteenth century and the excavations of Italica. In the 40s of the twentieth century the municipal collection transferred in trust by the City of Seville would join. Among the unique works that can be seen in this museum are Ébora Treasury, the Treasury Carambolo or Mosaic Triumph of Bacchus.

Museum of Arts and Customs

It is located in the Mudejar Pavilion of the Exhibition of 1929. The Museum of Arts and Customs is dedicated to the popular arts and traditions of Andalusia and disclosure and investigation of anthropological and ethnographic heritage of the region. Here we can see romantic images of bullfighting, flamenco, Easter and the April Fair.

The museum is open on Tuesdays from 14:30 to 20:30; Wednesday through Saturday from 9:00 to 20:30; and Sundays and holidays from 9:00 to 14:30. Tel .: 954 71 23 91.

Easter 

It is the largest party in Seville, followed with great fervor and devotion, and it involved more than 50 brotherhoods, sometimes accompanied by more than 1,000 Nazarenes. The most important of Holy Week are the processions and  its  steps that are true works of art.. the music is of great importance and improvised arrows .  the processions are organized throughout the week, day and night.

the tipycal tradition in holy week in seville is that  on palm sunday people used to a new garment and mens with dark suit and women black mantilla on Thursday and Friday.

Feria de Abril

Seville is famous for its fair day and night with their bedecked horses and gypsy dresses. The April Fair is closely linked to taurine and coinciding with this date season you can see important runs in the Real Maestranza. In the Real de la Feria, which is named after the support shown by Queen Elizabeth II, are the typical houses, about a thousand, participating in a contest that rewards your decor. The origin of the fair is commercial and livestock and initially lasted only three days.

As good trianero I say that is "other Seville",, in the Macarena district, very close to the wall, a little away from the main tourist routes of the city but one of the best places to try good Andalusian cuisine with a barbaric touch of originality.

to chaps in rioja wine. Other tapas also find here are the wild boar tenderloin, tuna with caramelized onions and teriyaki sauce or grilled squid with baby eels and shrimp scampi.

it's one of the favorite places to eat in Triana. It is a tiny bar, no tapas with spectacular performances but cargaditas as God commands and at unbeatable prices. If you bring hunger, do not feel like spending much and 4 tapas do not full, the bar Oliva is one of the best options to enjoy the best of Andalusian cuisine cheaply.

Do not forget to ask for a good serranito chicken or pork with pepper, lonchita ham, potatoes and tomato over top sirloin Spanish whiskey or, my favorite, with its salsita caramelized onions and mushrooms

The San jacobo, stuffed with cheese and ham, which is that you die rich.

Restaurante L’Oca Giuliva

Getting to this restaurant is like traveling to Italy but in the heart of Seville, in as mythical as the C / Mateos Gago street. cozy interior with a peculiar decoration all in white with pictures of Italian typical scenes and even a bicycle hanging from the ceiling! The tables are something together but no longer a perfect place to take your partner in Seville site.

Run by Italians, L'Oca Giuliva I dare say it is the best Italian restaurant in Seville.

This place is amazing  to see the truly folklore Andalusian.  it's like  magic see the singing and dancing. all make silence to enjoy the beauty of flamenco. While they eat and drink  there is no better way to enjoy it than watching dancing and enjoying the music.

The performances are every day at 21.30 - 22.30 and 23.30 with a minute break between performances. Artists are good and have a good time is fine.

Nightlifes and Bars in Seville
